I have a 99 ford explorer XLT SOHC V6. I recently had new intake gaskets (both of them) and spark plug / and wires done. I feel like my truck still misses a lot during idle, I don't feel it when driving, and sometimes putting it in park after driving the truck cuts off before I can reach the key. Any ideas? The only thing that I see abnormal is my voltage gauge, it never gets higher than the lower corner of the battery icon, it also seems to get lower with a load on it even when driving, drips below battery icon, our other two explorers we have (97,98), there gauges are right in the middle of the battery logo. I have a new alternator and battery, any ideas for that. Thanks.

Also as a reply I guess I am experiencing the death rattle at 150k. But I don't here my rattle at all or very little on cold starts, its after warm up when idling or giving it a little gas before the noise of the motor takes over and you can't here it, where it is noticeable at.
