rough idle

my 02 sport idle rough plugs are good it doesnt miss and makes no funny noises is this normal for the 4.0l

It is normal as in it is normally and issue explorer owners will have.
It can be a number of things dirty/faulty maf sensor, other sensors may be faulty, or intake gaskets may be faulty.
Is your cel light illuminated? Can you pull any error codes? This can help a lot.
Don't go replacing every sensor down the line in an attempt to fix this. Try to find the source and go from there.

its got no codes just seems rougher then my old car its my first ford in a whil the last one had a 302
