The engine management light has come on yet again...

I've got a slight misfire, so will change plugs and leads but there's also a rough idle...

When the blower is on the Ex cuts out.. any ideas?

I've cleaned the ICV but this hasn't cured it.

You could try cleaning the MAF. Check all the wiring plugs are seated properly. No vacuum leaks. Get the code read that will help point in the right direction.

is the MAF the big silver thing behind the airbox?

I'll get the codes read at the weekend when I goto Newport to get some interior trim bits...

All fun and games

Thats the one with the two security torx bolts on it. Be gentle as the wires are easily broken.

probably something else I'm bound to break like I did the coil pack the other week when I cut off the heater matrix!

I'll get the codes read first, just incase I don't have to touch it!!

I bet you Howard is 100% right on this one. I have to do mine about once or twice a year. I take mine off and spray it with a good dose of carb cleaner. Works every time.
