Rough idling

Help! My 95 Explorer, just suddenly started to idle and run roughly. When you speed up and the rpm cuts down, the the entire trucks just vidrates. In the park position its not that bad, but when you put it into drive with your foot on the brakes, you feel the engine running as if the plugs are bad. I did change the plugs and wires, that did not fix it. It has 124000K and I never changed the fuel filter, can this cause it.

It started when I was driving on the highway doing 85MPH , next thing I start feeling this vibration. At first It came and go, Now its constantly there. Where should I start looking. Help!

Wow talk about old thread eh?

But in my searching i found this thread has never been answered and he is getting similar symtoms as what i get at times on my 1993 Explorer.

Can we all answer this 2003 thread..

Ok i will state you probably have a bad MAF, clean it with some computer electronic cleaner as it does not leave a residue. If this does not help then you may need to replace it, but check the connector as well for proper voltages.

It could be a plugged fuel filter as well or a bad COIL.

We are playing a guessing game here.

Does the CEL light come, basically any CODES come up?
