Running board problem

So today i decided to take off the running boards for my 1999 Explorer, and everything went well. BUT now that i have them off first off i recommend it because it looks a lot higher off the ground, but now i see the holes that had tabs in them holding the steps on (other than the bracket bolts) and i was wondering if someone makes a panel to cover these ugly holes! Please help!!

I tried looking for covers but no one produces them. I decided to fill mine with body filler, sanded and then painted with the correct factory color (mine was platinum grey).

It was a spray can job but I did it properly and with a good 2 part clear coat.
