Running boards?

Hey, don't know if this is right area but I have a question about my running board or lack thereof. I took em off cuz i hated them (no lift explorers don't need them!). I didn't like how they look also. So now i have these holes where the plastic plugs were. Anything i can stick in there to cover em up?

Sand, fiberglass, sand, bondo, sand, finishing putty, sand, primer filler, sand, primer, sand lightly, paint. :)
 






Or you can find a pair of factory side skirts.
 






what color are those running boards you took off, and are they still in one piece :-)?
 






Hey, What I did was to go to your local auto parts store and get some non-skid tape. Black works best and just apply it from front to rear over the holes. Everyone that has seen it, thinks it was a great idea.
It was only $18 bucks .
