Haha yeah your car doesn't have any rust at all, comparatively! My car is like yours; pretty clean overall as its a car from the Northwest.

Some members cars here from the rust-belt areas have cars that look like they can disintegrate at any minute.

Having the spare fall at speed on the interstate was always one of my biggest driving fears.
Enough so, that I removed it and the winch entirely. Hope I never have to use the Fix-A-Flat.

i'm glad i live in the southeast. 2001 with 180k and underside still looks like new. not even any surface rust.

This si a good reminder, to do some maintenance back there. If I may add something, doing a good lube on the winch, and some grease on that cable.

I removed the rust and painted some anti-rust paint for the spare. But I didn't do the body like you did. May be I need to do it also.
