as an option, it doesnt look like the rust has eaten all the way through yet so perhaps you can do a little bit of body work yourself. it would probably be easier in the long run to remove the panel off from the vehicle first so you don't have to sit on the ground the entire time.

its gone through.I would like to cut the rust out and replace the section

ah! well then this is a little bit more complicated.

i agree with cutting the section and replacing them with panels. or if you'd like, fiberglass might be easier than sheet metal.

apperently on one makes that panel,or i cant find one.Maybe i'll have to to go to a junk yard with my generator and a sawsall and cut one out

nothing wrong with fabbing up your own panel either, its pretty easy once oyu get the hang of it.

The best thing to do is take a good look at exactly what you want to replace. Then match up the peice that will cover the whole area. It is alot easier to trim the new peice down than it is to buy a part too small and try to add in the difference free hand.

This place is located just south of cleveland. I got my rockers from them when i did it 1 1/2 ago.

I ended up using just one rocker panel and cutting it up to do both sides. My front rockers where solid (B-pillar fowards) so i just cut out the rust at the rear door and the dog leg. I used a right and left dog leg(#48) and 1 rocker panel. I used the #40 part but the #42 would have worked also for me. As you can see in the pic i only used about a 6"-8" section of the rocker. It was the same deal on both sides.

like i said you just need to figure out what kind of coverage you need.
