I took my valves out and there's a bit of rust on each of the intake valves (the bigger of the two valves), they still seem to seat ok ana new set is $360 for all the cylinders, should i get news ones or will the old ones be ok? Also, are there ANY companys that sell head studs for the 4.0 pushrod engines?

How long have the engine been sitting before you tore it apart? The rust could have come from the incomming air before you turned the truck off the last time. I would get them cleaned up and check for rust pitting. If you don't see any I would say you are ok to run them.

It sat maybe a month. How would i clean them up?

A wire wheel in on a bench grinder would work. I know when I did some machineing we had a machine that we put the valves in that had "shot" in it pretty much it was a big bead blaster that rotated with parts solvent in it. Just drop the parts in what looked like to me to be a big ammo container with the shot in it, give it 20 min and they came out looking brand new. I would assume at this point you are going to have the seats reground, just have the machine shop worry about it.

How much does it usually run to have the seats reground?

Edit: Actually, i really need to get it running soon, so i think i just want a quick way of cleaning the valves so i can assemble. Some fine grit sandpaper? A wire brush? I'll def get it reground later on though. Which brings me to my second question. Head studs? Are there ANY made for this engine?
