Ok I have a friend who has a 91 s10 2.5 4 cyl. Its his only ride and has some serious issues. Please help.
First off, no cat convt. Everything else stock.
When the truck is empty load, its hard to get to speed, shifts hard, is loud as hell.
Truck has full load, it is easy to get to speed, shifts great, not loud at all. Day and night difference, more weight in the back the better the drive.
Both full/empty load, it eats gas, EXTREMELY bad, takes a full tank to get somewhere that should only take half a tank. Where should he start to look and what to start checking?
