TTB's can flex well indeed, but need some careful work to maintain proper geometry. You can go with kits that provide brackets or you can get your beams cut and turned and even modified to accept D44 knuckles for greater strength. You can do quite a bit with these axles, as I think you will see.
Check with Josh at http://www.sffcustoms.com/ he does SAS's and I hear tell he now sells a 1st gen kit to do your own SAS. Or if you're any where near Colorado, he's got a pretty damn good deal on just having him do it.
