I had my local dealer call me and offer me FULL retail plus a little more for my ST. I guess his father-in-law has a gen-1 and it is completely wore out and wants a newer one...hence the dealer calling me to make an offer.

I took the offer and purchased a 2013 Escape Titanium 4X4 to fill up the empty space in my garage.

During my brief stay on the forum I learned a lot from all of you about our ST's and thank you all.

Best of luck to you all with your ST's.:D:D:D

Thanks

Good luck to you. :salute:

That's a good deal - good luck with the Escape.

My dealer sent me a letter saying they wanted my Sport Trac not long ago, I thought it was just a scam though (as in, generate lots of letters and just input the owner's vehicle type). Too bad I was too busy to actually look into it.

FLOffroad, Get ahold of your dealer and see if the offer is still good.

My dealer was very happy that I had just turned over 60k on the odometer. I've known this for years but the dealer mentioned that I was trading it in at just the right moment. I've checked the value of the ST 6mo ago and then again again just a couple weeks ago and I lost $3500 just because the mileage was at the 60k mark and also I think that the 2013 models are hitting the dealers lots a lot more now.

I had to leave town for a couple days so that gave the dealer some time to get the Escape in and detail it so that I can pick it up on Thursday when I get back to town...looking forward to doing the swap.

Good luck if you contact your dealer.

Cya
