scratching sound when gliding?

there seems to be a scratching sound under my right foot when i let off the gas and glide down a hill and the rpms drop, im almost 100% positive its drivetrain related. May be transmission? no slipping in the tranny that i can tell... if you have any opinions on what it could be it would be greatly appreciated.
