Hey guys, I've seen some posts about this but not anything that sounds 100% like my problem. I live in Phoenix, AZ and drive to Flagstaff, AZ quite a bit. Whenever I hit around 3500 RPMs +/- 500 RPMs, there's a loud screeching noise I can hear. My transmission was rebuilt 6 months ago so I know it's not that (shifts like butter as well). Could this be a bearing or a belt? I know it's not my front brakes.

AC compressor??? Mine does the exact thing you described around that RPM range.

Had the same thing check the serpentine belt for glazing or cracks. chances are it’s the belt slipping mine would do it under downshifts or hard accelerations
