Used the seafoam in my 00' X yesterday. One minute we're pouring the seafoam through the brake booster, the next we were looking at the fire retardant on the hood burning itself out. Apparently there's an exhaust leak where my header meets the exhaust pipe. Probably the gasket. Not a good sign when you see a flame shooting out of your engine bay. Just a word from the wise, if you see smoke coming from the engine bay while seafoaming, turn the car off. We waited a little long and were lucky one of the fuel lines didnt spark up.

Been there, done that. Thats how I figured out I had a good exhaust leak on the passenger side. It set the blanket around the A/C on fire. quick squirt with the extinguisher and it was out.. Course, it cost me $15 to replace the extinguisher..

So, Yes, people, be careful, and you should have an extinguisher if not in the X, at least in the garage or wherever you work on it.

I fixed the vaccum lines today, luckily that's all that got scorched...now trying to fix the leak is going to a process
