I'm trying to activate the seatbelt reminder chime on my '01 EB. According to the owners manual:
1. get in a close the door
2. place trans in PARK
3. set parking brake
4. turn off automatic headlights
5. turn the key to the run position, but don't start engine
6. wait until seat belt warning light goes off
7. buckle and unbuckle driver's seat belt 3 times, ending with unbuckled
8. turn of headlights then turn off headlights
9. buckle and unbuckle driver's seat belt 3 times
After step #9 the seat belt warning light is supposed to flash and you're supposed buckle the seat belt one more time, but nothing happens. Am I missing something or is this an option my vehicle may not have? Seems like the chime would be standard...
