Seat latch

[Sport 4x4]

My '99 Sport has the leather bucket seats. The other morning my daughter was going to get something of hers from the back seat and broke the handle off the side of the passenger seat that reclines and tilts the seat back forward. Is this something I should try to fix? Should I take it to my Ford dealer or an upholstry shop?? Thanks for all replies.
