I have an 04 and an 05 Explorer. To me, the front seats are fairly uncomfortable. I stand 5'6", so if I was 6' plus maybe they'd be okay.
The issue I have, is that the seat itself is too long/deep (from steering wheel to seat back.) This puts "pressure" on the underside of my knees as my legs don't overhang the seat properly. The older Explorers had it so you could extend the front of the seats manually. (What a novel idea.)
I was wondering if anyone had done a seat swap with any other vehicle, or purchased anything aftermarket. I'm not concerned with maintaining seat functions so much.
