I have dual batteries with an Isolator in my sport with the 2nd one in a battery box in the cargo area.

ive just put a deep cycle 100 amp sealed gel 2nd batt in my 02 ( oz ) v8 explorer

put it inside the left hand paneling in the cargo bay

nice tight fit to

and all i had to modify ( that cant be put back to original ) was to cut a part of a hidden panel , removed part less than the size of a car key but would chaff on the battery
