I removed the 4x4 switch today and tried jumping the wires to actuate the transfer case motor to see if the switch was fualty. Here's the big ooooppppss...........wrong wire=short, I do not have any guages that work except speedo. I also do not have any power to the computer mounted in the drivers side rear quarted panel that controls the transfer case motor. Is there a relay that i could have fried? I checked all the fuses and they all looked good. I replaced the computer in the back with a spare i had and that didn't help either. Any suggestions?

Did you check all the fuses under the hood also? The 4x relay is in the back pannel where the tire iron is kept just further forward a little

yes i checked the fuses under the hood, Is there an actual relay or just the transfer case module located forward of the jack? Can anyone tell me what supplies the power to the gages? It must somehow be related to the switch that controls the module or the lights inside the switch?
