Sensors for thermometer (under the hood)

i need to replace my sensors for my electronic thermometer i know they are behind the grill. Does anyone know what the replacement cost or how to replace them would cost?
My thermometer reads -40 and i already tried attaching and re-attaching the battery so i'm pretty sure it's the actual sensors.

i would check the wires going to the sensor. also i would go to a junk yard. i bought an overhead console with all the wiring for 40 bux. the sensor shouldn't be too expensive.

The labor to swap the sensor is cake.
If you can remove the grille that is half the job.
