I just got my Warrior shackle installed today... shouldn't they move when the suspension is jounced? Mabey we overtightened them or something just need to find something out about it.

Thanks in advance

They should only be torqued 25 - 35 ft/lbs... The Warrior instation guide cautions against over tightening them.

hmm must have missed that part... iw onder how tight we got em using a 1/2" drive ratchet and a crescent wrench?

Hey, I plan on doing this in a few weeks, just curious, but how long did it take to do the shackles?

took 20 mins by myself with airtools, 2 jackstands, a jack, a 1/2" drive breakerbar and ratchet.:D

snowburns: If the old bolts are not frozen within the bushings then its a quick job as nissanboy says.

Nissanboy: 25-35ft lbs is not that much. You could easily cranked it up to 100ft lbs with those tools. The shackles should NOT be bent at all after the install. By that I mean if you start over tightening the bolts the shackles will start to bow.

i loosened them up and used a torque wrench to tighten em back up... they werent bowed at all anywhere.

So do you guys' shackles move substatially when you flex it?

they have to flex as the leaf spring flattens it gets longer there for the shackle moves twards the back of the truck. did you install the long end twards the frame
