excuse me if this has been posted before, i'm a newby.. a newly made proud owner of my first truck (94 EB 4X4), and am still learning about car problems and maintenance. my problem is that when i first turn my engine on, it idles smoothly, but after driving it for a few minutes, it starts to idle roughly when stopped at lights and especially when in P and Reverse. the idle RPM is around 700, and while at speed the ride is smooth with no noticable shakes. i have checked for vaccum leaks and have found none, although that doesn't mean that there isn't one that i can't find. what would cause this? would sea foaming help?

also, my fuel pump has become noticably noisy, and the truck feels somewhat sluggish. could the problem with my fuel system be connected with my rough idle? any help would be great.

That would be a definite maybe. I would start by pulling codes (see tests at www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html) and checking fuel pressure (especially since you've already potentially identified the fuel system as the problem).
