Shift Cable and Turn SIgnal

I just had the shift cable replaced in my 94 Explorer and the next day the left turn signal stopped flashing. Any way these are related? Thanks.
 






Shouldn't be related, but maybe one of the wires got pulled out of the multi-function switch hardshell.
