I got stuck in park today and had to use a screwdriver through that little hole in the center console cup holders to disengage it . Also just noticed the AC and Heat do not work. :(

First thought is a fuse , I checked the box in the engine bay but all of them were fine. I’m going to check the box underneath the dash here in a few minutes .

Atleast I have all weekend to figure it out if it’s not a fuse .

Has anyone else had this happen?

The brake release for the shifter is a fairly common problem. Do a search - it has been discussed and solved often. As for the climate control not working - how is it not working. Just plain dead or not putting out the air temperature that you expect? And is it manual or auto climate control?
