So i have been having some problems with the shifting lever its really sloppy. Does not easily go into P,R,N,D so on so fourth. I have seen some people on say shift lever bushings?? anyone with experience with this i would love to hear from you.

I reached under the dash and tried my bracket bolts. That was not my problem. Definitely worth starting there, though. Two T-15 (I think) torx screws hold that bracket on. I have read that they back out. Mine were nice and tight.

My problem was my shift bushings. You can see a pic of them in this thread:

It is not hard, but you have to remove a lot to be able to drop the steering column. You will remove the trim piece below the steering column, then the metal bracket, then the plastic pieces on the steering column. There are four bolts that hold the steering column up that you remove to drop it enough to get access to the bushings.

Shift it all the way to low gear before unbolting it.

Mine feels nice and tight now.
