So I've read so many articles on the internet about people having their trannys empty and fry on them because the plugs fell out on them so I checked mine.
They loooked like they have been removed and sealed very well. Am I mistaken and is this just factory glue. I know the real solution is metal freeze plugs but I've also heard as long as they have been re-glued it should be fine. Here is a picture:
By The Way. If you ever replace or want to check your plugs DO THIS:
Remove the shift boot, center console and the plastic foot step inside the door. Then peel back the carpet and remove the 4 bolts that keep a large panel secured around the shift lever. From here it should be real easy to replace the plugs. To get the carpet even more out of the way you could remove the front seats.
