Shipping time to Central NY?

My Explorer was shipped May 3. Any estimates of how long it would take to get to the dealer in Central NY near Syracuse? Ford estimated between May 4 and the 10th

There are so many variables involved in shipping that it is difficult to say. Have you checked with your dealer?

Dealer says any day now. I ordered a XLT with the Sport appearance pkg. If I realized the small price difference between what I ordered and a Timberline, I would have gotten the Timberline.

If you really want the Timberline, see if the dealer will allow you to order one and have them take the XLT to put on the lot. They shouldn't have any problem selling it. The only issue is you'll have another long wait.

My dealer called yesterday morning to let my know my new Explorer arrived on Tuesday.. The order was placed on 2/17 so 3 months for delivery.

So shipping took 2 weeks. Congratulations on your new XLT.
