Ok, I have installed numerous shocks over the years, but for the life of me I can't figure out hgow to install the Shock Boots on my rear shocks. They have a T-Bar that the boots have to fit over. I tried to remove the t-bar but I'm a fraid that will destroy the bushing hold the t-bar in.

I know there has to be trick to this boot install.

Thanks:confused:

I don't run boots on shocks with boots. Those little holes in the boots don't drain water very well, just hold it in, and the top of the shock can rust out. And you don't have to worry about that chrome rod rusting either. Plus it looks more like a real shock.

Just got to work with it, that boot will stretch a little, try putting shockmount(t-bar) thru one side at a time.
As for what Byrd91 said, you can run without the boot, but the boot does help to keep dirt off the ram, which can get inbetween ram and seal, causing leaks at seal.
