shock part numbers

I have searched and only found confusing part numbers and wanted to verify, Has anyone installed the monroe 931321 in the front and the monroe 931322 in the rear? The reason I ask is the "local" part stores say the fronts require ranchos and only the backs can use the monroe, but I can use ranchos all the way around if I want, but online I have found that I can use monroe all the way around if I want. I would like to keep the same shock all the way around. Before I buy the monroes for the front and backs and have a shop try and install them I was wondering if there is anyone that has "actually" used monroes and if they will fit with no mods? Is it a strut assembly in front and shocks in back? I guess I am totally confused, any help would be great.

looks like mornoe changed the part number for the front

Rear 931322
Front 931398

e-bay has them new, all four for $149
they also have the bilstein, all four for $248

not sure which ones to get any suggestions
