Shock Problems!

Hey everyone I need opinions..

THE SITUATION:
My 93 xlt has 1.5in leveling springs from rough country installed exactly 1 year ago. I also used 2-4in lift, foam cell "extreme" shocks from les schwab because the leveling kit actually gave me 2 inches of lift.

PROBLEM:
The front shock, top bushings blew out twice on both sides in the first 6 months of use. Then les schwab warrantied another set of shocks and installed them last fall to try and fix the problem. Now the same issue has occurred!

Any ideas about what is happening and how to fix it??

Your shocks are too long and are bottoming out would be my guess. Get the stock length shocks, they will be fine for a 2" lift.

your shock bottoms out and puts to much pressure on the bushing and cracks it had the same problem go with a shorter shock like brian1 suggested
