Shock Question

I'm going to be putting new shocks on my X soon, current ones are stock with 86K+ on them. I have done the TT lift and shackles, I was wondering if I would need to get longer shocks or anything? Anyone have KYB on their truck now? I do primarly highway driving with some toying here and there.

You can use stock length shocks, they will work just fine. You might wanna look at the rancho 9000's, they cost a little more but they are 9 way adjustable.

I def. have been but I'm not sure I can afford that much for shocks. How difficult of a job is this to do?

Very easy job, the fronts you just unbolt the old ones and install the new ones. The rear are pretty easy to, just drop the spare tire to give you better access to the shocks.

Sounds good, looks like the front can be a lil tight? I guess I'll manage. Any other opinions on shocks?

ive only ever used bilstein and rancho on my ex. Others have used different ones maybe they will chime in and help you...
