Monroe Reflex. Firm but not harsh ride. I love mine.

Go with the Reflex!!

I absolutely LOVE mine! The ride is great. The handling improvements made by just installing these shocks is unbelievable. You won't regret buying Monroe Reflex.

Go with the edelbrachs! I have them on my lowered sport trac and love them!

OME nitros are great, if not a little pricey

I've got edelbrocks, and I'm happy with them.

I just put on 4 TrailMaster SSV shocks and they are great, much better than stock. We do mostly highway driving. Got them for $40/ea

Does anyone have the part number of edelbrock or monroe reflex for the sport trac? Can't find it in their website!

Thanks

I'll try to get the part numbers for the Reflex's tomorrow when NAPA opens up. (my dad works there)

The Reflex shocks makes the Explorer a much better vehicle on and off road in my experience!

Rancho makes the RSX, which is an "auto adjusting shock" similar to the Edelbrock.

I use Rancho 9000's, which are adjustable, so you can dial in the ride you want, from soft to firm. There are 5 settings. They are very heavy duty, and are not gas charged, which I think provides a more comfortable ride.

I believe those who say they love their Edelbrocks, but I do remember a few people who claimed they wore out prematurely. I've never used them before.

Anything you use will probably be a big improvement over the stock Ford shocks.

Monroe Reflex's are what I just put on, love them.
