shock replacement time....

so

I have not been around a whole lot. been going through some life changing events that should be over soon.

but I have to get the truck ready for inspection. and I have been putting this off for too many years hoping I would get my front solid axle done before I needed to do this.

so I had to bite the bullet and spend some money that I didn't want to spend this way. the old shocks I believe are original shocks from the factory so they did a real nice job!

and while I was in there I realized that my sway bar links had bad bushings on them. and they were not that old!

so I used the bushings from the old shocks to replace the bad sway bar link bushings at the lower "A" arm mount. ( didn't get pics of this mod )

it was very easy to do. I thought it would take a lot longer than it did considering the age of the shocks. but they look real good in there.

the truck rides two hundred times better then it did before I changed them. I'm glad I did it now. :salute:
