Yeah, I saw those Tokiko's... don't they have some handling kit or something like that for the ford explorer?

Fellas,

Why would anyone want to get stiffer shocks on a truck that is mostly street driven (meaning other than 4 wheelin')?

I would say ok, stiffer sway bars, lowered, for performance through turns ect...

But stiffer shocks, would make it almost unbearable to drive in NYC that stiff!

I'm also looking at shocks - seriosuly looking at Ranchos.

There are the 5000s, the mid-level RSXs and the top of the line 9000Xs. For a TT/shackle lifted 97 V8, what would you recommend?
I like the idea of the 9000s being adjustible - how often do you adjust them?
Would 9000s out back be a waste?
How good are the RSXs compared to the 5000s?

Thanks,
Aaron

the 9000x's that i have in the front help on the highway use. it makes it smoother but the back is so stiff that the 5000's don't move much.

off-road the 9000x's and the 5000 move a ton and are so nice!

if u guys want to ge some real soft suspension and money is not an option i would go with the king resivoir shocks or the race runner shocks with run about 250 a piece but the ride will be awesome way worth it
