Ok, so I'm thinking I'd like to hear what you guys use. I've used Rancho RS5000s before and they were pretty firm, I've used Monroe Sensatrak and they were to soft. I'm currently using James Duff shocks, and they are all right. But, when I finally install this lift, I would like to, for once, be happy with my shocks.

I was also thinking, thanks to the Explorer Guru himself, Jack Lobdell, about the Edelbrocks, but he ran them with the Superlift 4", will they be long enough, or do they have a size for the 5.5"
Thanks
Mat

Mat,
Remember if you go with the Edlebrocks you can not ask for a shock to fit an Explorer with the Superlift 5.5" lift. The salesman will look at you funny and tell you Edlebrock does not make one. Edlebrock shocks are sized not only by length, but also vehicle weight. Determine what truck has a similar weight (F150) and shock length you will need.

I just purchased the 5.5 in lift and some Rancho RS9000 to go along with it. They are great since they are adjustable so you can choose soft to firm
