Im confused because its at stock height. nothing of the suspension is touched except the edelbrock shocks and the new inner tie rods i installed. The shop said that i need a camber kit to get it within manufactured specs. I thought that you only need it if your x is lowered or raised. any idea why i would need it? thanks

Well if your front end is out of alignment, you need to get a camber kit because the stock camber cam is not adjustable. Don't ask me why Ford didn't make them adjustable. I would go buy the kit and do it yourself. Its not hard to install..

this was the case on my 99 also, the mech showed me the ford write up and the left or drivers side comes with the camber adjuster. However the right(passenger) side does not ,strange, I think it was 4o dollars or so for the kit. I couldn't get one, but we were able to manually balance and tighten nuts till we got it within 1 degree or percent or however they figure it

They actually tried to get it within specs but it still steers to the right. Oh well they are going to do the alignment for free after i put the adjusters in. This sucks cause I just got some new tires and they are going to get jacked up soon if I dont get the alignment right.
