Should I be ok with trying to tow this

5x8 enclosed trailer with about 800lbs of equipment loaded into it. 4-5 miles total 1 time a week. Local streets, no HW. 4x4, auto, 3.27 gears & mods in sig.

Never towed anything with the X. Weight shouldn't be an issue with the rear lift.

I carry this 800lbs of equipment in the X sometimes anyway. Now just adding the trailer. I don't know how much the trailer weighs.

Keep the transmission in Drive (not overdrive)... It will help keep the engine/transmission from being overworked... My X easily towed 2-3Klbs when it was stock (auto with 3.27s)..

I think you'll handle it fine given the short distance and low speeds especially. Be careful with that A4LD!
