Should I buy 2021 XLT???

Greetings. I’m looking really hard at a beautiful 2021 XLT with everything except the moonroof. It has 35,000 miles and appears to be in excellent condition. Are there any suggestions, things to look out for, or should I just dump it and look for something else. Any suggestions and or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I’m anticipating that I’ll buy an esp extended warranty. Good idea??

I was going to say pass til I saw that you'd get an ext warranty.
With only 1k miles to shake it down, without the ext warranty, I'd be hesitant.

We got a 2021 about 18 months ago that had been on lease with about 13K miles. It has been perfect with no issues other than some broken trim we found that the dealer replaced for free (driver's side plastic panel under seat, knob on rear climate controls). It drives great, pulls a trailer easily, and gets great mileage. Good vehicle.

If you decide on a warranty, check out this thread; 2020 Extended Service Plans Pricing @ Dealer Cost It may have to be a used vehicle warranty but with it still being under the factory warranty, perhaps not.

I was in a similar situation a year ago. I bought my 2021 with 21K miles. It was in absolutely perfect condition. It has been an excellent vehicle so far. I had an '08 Explorer with 270K miles that was still running strong when I sold it. While this one is two generations later, I had reliability concerns with the drivetrain (2.3L 4 cyl w/ 10R60) and still do. I just had a major transmission repair under the powertrain warranty. Not a great thing, but knowing everything I do today, I would still buy the vehicle. A pretty strong statement on how happy I am with my purchase despite the concerns.
