I'm getting a Pending Code for excess EGR flow on my 01 Ranger 3.0l
The diagnostic chart in my Motor manual says to read the DPFE data with a scan tool. My Astron scanner reads a bunch of data but not DPFE. Are scan tools different in the number of data parameters they read?
It's a pain to have to pierce wires to read the sensor output with a meter when the scan tool should show it. Maybe I got the wrong scan tool.
