Here are some pictures of my Tuffy Security box. It bolts to the floor. It is rated I think for 300lbs.

then look for the "Tuffy Security Box" link on the left of the page under general.

The only thing I would change is...I would develop some way to be able to quickly remove the box in the event you need more room for that Saturday project.

Here is what I was/are using on our 'first gen x..

I no longer use the rocket box and I don't keep the UPS in the truck now, I only put it in when I'm going to go camping. I stopped using the rocket box becuase I couldn't carry enough water in it.. and my 5 gal water jug would fit next to it.

The box is $250-$300. Then the dividers are another $70--not cheep. The dividers are just some sheet metal...save $s and skip the dividers. I might even have some extra divders from when I bought my box.

Tuffy Part Numbers:
TUF 063-01 Oversize Drawer
TUF 064-01 Divider kit for 063-01

Wow that Tuffy is pretty sweet. I was thinking I don't really need that much "Box" but then again you can never have to much... storage space.;)

Was looking for something a little cheaper though. MAniak, that is a good idea. I could just build one and then cover it in the same carpeting as my interior.

Anyone else?
