Ok, heres the deal. I have a shudder in the drivetrain when I go over speed bumps at a very low speed...I almost idle over them. I can feel the shudder, but im not sure if I can hear it. I have to pay real close attention tomorrow. I feel it when the rear wheels go over the bump. Does anybody know anything about this?

is the steering effected in anyway? may be signs of bump steer. Usually a caster issue.

Sterring is not affected. Im going in a straight line, literally Idling over a speed bump in the parking lot at work. 5mph tops. Today, I turned off the radio and listened. I get a couple soft clunks(barely audible) as I am cresting and coming off of the speed bump. I can also feel the clunks very slightly through the steering wheel. but also just vibration through the truck(floor, seat, etc.). My gut says that this is a drivetrain issue. Im just unsure of what it is and more importantly, is it a problem.

A side note, There are a set of "higher speed" speed bumps that I go over at about 20 mph. they are more like humps. They're probably 8 or ten feet wide and maybe a foot high. so you can carry some speed over them and not get thrown off the road. I dont notice any noises or feel any clunks going over these.

I just got in the truck and moved it to the other side of the parking lot. it seems that I only get the noise when going UP hill over the speed bumps. Going down hill, It was either not there or almost nonexistent. I'd imagine the reason for this is that there is more strain on the drivetrain idling up hill over teh bumps as opposed to almost drifting down over them.

Unless Im way out of line with my thinking, this pretty much confirms that its in teh drivetrain, and not the suspension. right? :(

Edit: going down the hill, I was probably on the brakes also.
