Shutters/Trembles...wires/plugs/filters don't improve

My 2004 ford explorer limited has about 100,000 miles on it. Recently It started "Shuttering" or "trembling" worse right when started up but persistent through an entire ride. I changed the spark plugs, the air filter and the wires as well as the fuel filter. And now, it seems to be even worse. It makes no difference if the A/C is on or off. It does seem to worse when it is in park versus drive but it is always there. I guess my next step would be to replace the cap and roter but at this point I'm not sure if maybe it would just be better to bring it to a dealership.

you must have a 4.0 because a 4.6 doesn't have plug wires.

You also wouldn't have a cap and rotor as you should have a coil pack.

Have you done anything with the fuel system?
when was the fuel filter replaced?
have you tried an injection cleaner?

Is the engine light on? possible code?
