Side Markers & Neon

I just got finished installing side markers. It took A LONG TIME. I paid $27 at a local store and decided to put them in myself. One installer wanted $100 and another two wanted $50... yeah right!? I spent about 5 hours, but i got it in and it looks great. I have to change the bulb though, too bright. I would recommend them to anyone. The only thing is, install it yourself only if you have PATIENCE.

I also bought two 8" aqua neon tubes for the inside floor. I tested them out and they look great! Thanks to Pur Pony's pics of blue neon, I decided to go ahead and install them. I'll let you guys know how it comes out. At $20 a tube, you can't go wrong.

Do you know how to wire the neon lights to turn on when the doors open? I head it is the light blue/black wire but I have had no luck. Any help would be great.

Punisher, I'm not sure which wire it is, but if you get a tester and use it when the door is open and closed, it should be pretty easy to find. But why would you want it to come on when the door is open? I would look much better being on with the headlights... When you open your door and close it back, I'm pretty sure you'll miss the neon be on. Well, to each his own. Good luck

Well I have some neon glow pedals that is on a 3 position switch. Positioin 1 is off, 2 is on, and 3 is on when door is open. Also, I tried to use a tester on the wires. There are too many to check and I can only see about 1/3 of them because they are taped up. Do you think an auto sound installation store would know?

Right when they started this new style forum, there was an option in the profile in which you could change it. I changed it and then they took off that option so now it is stuck that way. lol

I plan to get the pictures as soon as possible. I don't have a digital camera or it would have been up already. I have to take a few more pictures then I'll develop them. They look great though.
