Signature lights activation 2017 PI

I have a 2017 PI, the headlight cluster has the Signature light strip (the 'L' or '7' the wraps around the top and side) but they do not come on. I have read that there is a configuration option to allow them to be turned on or off by default. Having them off would allow for 'silent' approach. However, I don't have the menu option to dis/enable them. I've also read that 17 PIs don't include the LEDs within the headlight cluster, even though they include the Signature strip.

Does anyone know if 17 PIs have the ability to have the Signatures on, if so how? Or does it entail some after market mods? Anyone successfully completed these mods, ad has some advice / guidance?

Your PIU headlights are built without the signature light strip, so ever if you enable them with FORScan, there is nothing inside to light up.

Could we buy headlights with the signature strip then activate in FORScan?
