simple exhaust????????

Hey guys just tryin to manage to maybe build a cheap exhaust was thinking about using pre fabbed tubing from autozone to relpace rear cats and tie into a new muffler maybe a flowmaster dual inlet and re-use the stock tail pipe? good idea or a waste of time?? truck now has 157500 on it.
