- 2014 Explorer XLT
Hello, I've got a overall stock 2014 Explorer xlt. Should have a 45" 6 rib belt the way I understand under normal conditions. I'm looking to see if someone knows the length of a replacement belt to take the ac pulley out of the equation for the time being.
Believe ac began to fail in October, (little need for ac in Northern ohio in the late fall). Had plans to deal with it towards the spring. Seems as if the clutch failed on me recently while driving, Smoldering & nasty burnt smell from the rubber off the clutch pulley. Belt seems fine, driving is currently not impacted.
Overall looking to just put a replacement belt in to bypass the ac pulley for the time being and looking to see if someone can confirm the length I came up with. Approximately 42"
Saw a previous post asking for a length for a 2011 but post never got a response regarding the length.
Thanks
