Skyjacker Lift

I have been looking to raise my explorer 6 inches, and would like to go with the Skyjacker lift. But all I see is for rangers. What's the difference between say a 92 ranger and a 93 explorer? This is the first Ford I have ever redone and I haven't a clue.Would the ranger kit work?
Any help would be appreciated

I can not say for absolute but I believe that the Ranger and the X are the same animal (front-end wise).
Have you contacted SkyJacker, usually they will tell you what you need to know and what they suggest?

skyjacker will work for front..... ( same as ranger ) but skyjacker discontinued their 6" lift springs for the X so you will have to do a SAS and order the superlift rear flip kit.... and probley add a leaf to rear cause it will be a tad lower than front cause front is 6" and flip gives you 5.5...... look at my web page.... i have superlift kit on mine i got 8.5" of lift.

Skyjacker will be rereleasing the 6" lift within a few months. They reengineered a few things.

I've only had my explorer since last fall, but I have enjoyed restoring it back to new condition. Now that it is in good shape it's time to lift it. I will definitely wait to see if they [skyjacker] bring back the 6 inch lift complete.
I would be the first in line to purchase that.:bounce
