Just a simple question please bear with me.
I have a chance to buy a skyjacker 4" class II lift kit, orignally designed for a ford ranger. (price $1000.00 new in box)
I will be installing this lift on a 93 ex sport.
Questions:
1. what is different between this lift and one designed for the ex.
2. if the rear springs are different can i flip the center pins and wedges and use this kit.
Sorry for being vague, I will give more info if it is needed.
I will be contacting skyjacker tomorrow to see if they can shed any light on this issue.
Thanks in advance
John

ok, i think they are the same as long as the ranger had a d35 front end

also, in the rear, a ranger has an soa, whereas an explorer has an sua

This is just a guess but I was thinking about the soa vs the sua thing. And I think as long as the springs themselvs are the same I could swap the pin around.

yes, but a 4" lifted spring if under the axle will lower the truck 4"

True True
I should have put more thought into that idea.
Thanks for the help.
