Sleep in Explorer 2015?

Hey there,

i´m new and not native english speaking. Can´t find an Answer to my question and don´t know where to place it. So I´ll try it here. Sorry

I rented an Ford Explorer 2015 for our next Vacation in California. We will do an Roundtrip and i wonder if we could sleep in it (in case of bad weather/damaged tent at the burning man). I watched some videos and saw that there is a lot of space in the back, if the Seats are down. But i can´t find dimensions.

My husband is 78 inch tall. Does anyone know if that fits?

With all the seats down, yes. Even at 78" tall (6'6"), you should be fine. And that's only if some drunken teenager raves into your tent and breaks it, right?

Why don't you just sit in the front seats and recline them??

I think thats not very comfortable... and, ehhh... i really mean sleeping. The whole night. Not just with each other.
